Free time in Oxford in the afternoon. I went to Hogwards school of witchcraft and wizardry, better known as Christ church college and cathedral. Several locations were used for scenes in the Harry Potter movie. The starcases. The hall. The great dining hall.

Spent some private time in chapel of remembarence trying to capture the Anglican Church tradition, which at the same time is so strange and yet so familiar, since methodism grew from it. Here in Oxford Cathedral it is easy to grasp the rootless postmodernisms. We do not any longer have proud familytraditions where sons follow their fathers to college and where the Church of the State is naturally matter of course. We do more or less as we please.  But as Harry Potter found his first home and sence of fellowship at Hogwarts, so I am proud and pleased to be part of this brand of Church History that is Church of England and Metohodism.
